How to configure Bittrex API

Bittrex is a popular digital currency exchange that focuses on spot trading. Bittrex has a daily trading volume of over 1 billion USD, making it one of the largest exchanges in the world.

In order to connect your Bittrex account to TabTrader you’ll need to link your API keys in the Accounts section. 

If you already have a set of API keys, this article explains how to add your API account to TabTrader.

How to create API keys

Log in to your Bittrex account on the exchange’s website.

Once you're logged in, click on "My Account" in the top right corner of the screen.

Navigate to the section "Site Settings" in the left side-menu. Open the "API Keys" page.

Click on "Create New API Key". 

In the "Permissions'' section select the permissions you want to grant to your API key. Enable the following permissions: "Read Info", "Trade".

Do not enable “Withdrawal” permission.

Enter your 6-digit authentication code and click on "Continue". 

Your API and Secret keys will now be displayed. 
Copy and save the keys.

Now you’re ready to add these keys into TabTrader. 

Keep your API keys safe and never share them with anyone.
