Poloniex: how to create API keys

Poloniex is a popular exchange platform that supports a wide range of trading instruments with over 100 digital currencies available.
Poloniex offers margin and futures trading.

In order to connect your Poloniex account to TabTrader you’ll need to link your API keys in the Portfolio section. 

If you already have a set of API keys, this article explains how to add your API account to TabTrader.

How to create API keys

Log in to your Poloniex account.

Once you're logged in, click on your profile icon in the top right corner of the screen.

From the dropdown menu, select "Profile".

Switch to the tab called "API keys". 

Click "Create API".

In the "Permissions'' section enable the "Trading" permission.

Do not enable “Withdrawals” permission.

For mobile applications you can also whitelist your device’s IP addresses that are allowed to access your API key. 

If you don’t have a static IP address, you shouldn’t enable this option.

Once it's all set, click on "Next". 

Confirm the creation of the API key with a 6-digit code sent to your email.  
Press "Submit"

Copy and save your API and Secret keys.

Now you’re ready to add these keys into TabTrader. 

Keep your API keys safe and never share them with anyone.
