Workspaces: how to customize your trading page
What’s Workspace
Workspaces in TabTrader Web let you organize your trading environment exactly the way you need. Each Workspace is a dedicated space where you can add and arrange modules to match your trading approach — whether for different strategies or market analysis.
Combine modules from different trading instruments within a single view. This allows you to place multiple charts, order books, and other modules side by side, making it easier to compare markets and track multiple assets at once.

TabTrader Web: Workspace
Key elements include:
- Modules: core elements of your setup such as charts, watchlists, orderbooks, recent trades, alerts, order forms, and lists of user positions, trades, orders, and notes.
- Flexible Arrangement: you can move, resize, combine, or keep modules separate to create your ideal layout.
- Multiple Workspaces: create different workspaces for different aims. The bottom bar displays all available workspaces as tabs, enabling quick navigation between various trading environments without having to reconfigure your layout each time.
Note that the number of available workspaces is defined by your billing plan.
Creating a Workspace
Add a workspace:
- Click the plus icon on the bottom bar.
- A new workspace tab will appear, and a blank layout will open, ready for you to add modules.
Add Modules:
- Click the Modules button in the bottom left corner to open a list of available modules.
- Select a module, then choose the associated trading instrument from the instrument search window that appears.
The selected module will be added to your workspace. Depending on your current layout, it might appear as a separate module or be grouped as a tab with an existing module of the same type.
Customize Layout:
- To reposition a module, click and hold its tab, then drag and drop it to your preferred location on the screen.
To remove a module, click the X button on its tab.
- Edit your workspace by right-clicking its name in the bottom bar to rename, duplicate, or remove it as needed.

Module Sync
Module Sync allows you to link multiple modules tracking the same trading pair, so they update together. This feature updates all linked modules automatically when you change the trading instrument.
How to use Module Sync:
Create a Sync Group:
- Click the circle on the module’s tab.
- Choose a color to assign the module to a Sync Group.
Once grouped, any change you make to the trading instrument on one module will automatically update all other modules in the same color group.
For example, if you assign both your chart and order book modules to the same color group, switching the trading pair on one will update both modules instantly.
Conclusion
Workspaces provide a clear overview of your trading tools and data. With this feature, you can arrange modules any way you like. Possibilities are endless.
