Quick Order Form

The quick order form in TabTrader helps you react quickly to market changes and execute trades with ease. You can place, adjust, and manage orders directly from the chart without extra steps. 

How to Place an Order

Select an Order Type

• Tap the order type dropdown at the bottom-left of the order form.
• Choose between Market, Limit, or Stop-Limit orders.
• The selected order type will display its price levels on the chart 

Set Your Price

• Tap and hold the Limit or Stop price line on the chart to move it to the desired price.
• Dragging these lines automatically updates your order price.
• For Stop-Limit orders, both Stop and Limit price lines can be adjusted.

Select the Trade Amount

• In the quick order form, tap one of the predefined percentage buttons (10%, 25%, 50%, 75%, Max) to allocate your trade amount based on your available balance.
• In the full order form, manually enter the amount of the asset you want to trade.

Check the Total Trade Value

• The Total field automatically calculates the trade value in the quote currency.
• In the full order form, entering a total amount will automatically adjust the asset quantity in the Amount field.

Confirm and Place Your Order

• Tap Buy to place a buy order or Sell to place a sell order.
• Your order is sent to the exchange immediately based on your selected settings.

Quick and Full Order Form

The quick order form stays visible when pinned, giving you instant access to essential order details. In this view you can only select a percentage of your balance for the trade. 

To access more settings, tap the upward arrow to expand the full order form.

The full order form lets you manually enter the trade amount and total. It also offers advanced options like time-in-force settings and alert creation. Once your order details are set, tap the downward arrow to collapse it and return to the quick order view.

Visibility and Controls

Tap the three-dot button in the top-right corner to adjust visibility. Use this menu to show or hide order price levels on the chart or pin the quick order form at the bottom for easy access.

Tap the three-dot button in the top-right corner to open additional settings:

• Order prices on the chart – toggles the display of order price levels.

• Pin order form – keeps the quick order form fixed at the bottom for easy access.

When the full order form is expanded, find two buttons at the top:

• Pen icon – shows or hides order prices on the chart.
• Pin icon – pins or unpins the order form.

To collapse the full order form use the downward arrow at the bottom.
