Enhancements to the Discover Screen, TabTrader Wallet, and Chart Customization Features
Android release 7.0, September 2024
Discover Screen Improvements
Currency Selection
You can now choose the currency in which to display all coin price-related fields such as price, volume, market cap, and fully diluted market cap, on the Discover Screen. To switch currencies, simply tap the selection button within the top app bar.
This setting is synchronized with the Portfolio section, so the currency you select in either the Portfolio section or the Discover screen will automatically apply to both.
Full Coin Names
All lists of coins —across the Coins, Categories, and Sectors tabs— will now display coins using their full names rather than ticker symbols.
Self-Reported Market Cap and Circulating Supply
For coins without a verified market cap or circulating supply, the coin details page will now show self-reported values for these metrics.
In lists of coins —across the Coins, Categories, and Sectors tabs— cryptocurrencies that use a self-reported market cap will have a warning triangle icon next to this value.
TabTrader Wallet Improvement
Solana Token Account Merge
You can now consolidate multiple Solana token accounts holding the same currency into a single Solana token account within TabTrader Wallet. To do this, tap and hold one of the token accounts you want to merge, then select "Merge" from the context menu. The selected token account will receive the balances from all other accounts holding the same currency, and those other accounts will be closed.
New Chart Customization Features
Alert Style Settings
We’ve added style settings for alerts, so you can customize how they look on your chart. To access these settings:
- Long press an alert line on the chart and select the "edit alert" icon from the action bar.
- Or, go to the Layers menu on the chart toolbar and click the gear icon next to "Alerts."
Hide Price Values in Fibonacci Levels
You can now choose to hide absolute price values in the level labels for the Fibonacci Levels chart shape. To do so, open the shape settings and disable the “Show Values” option.
Indicator Management via Text Labels
You can now open an indicator’s context menu by clicking on its text label on the chart. From this menu, you can remove, edit, hide, copy, or move the indicator up or down.
Moving an indicator up or down changes its position relative to other indicators. For overlay indicators, this adjusts their stacking order on the chart, while for subchart indicators, it changes their vertical position in the list of subcharts.
Instrument Page Improvement
Icons in Tab Labels
Tabs on the instrument page are now labeled with icons for more intuitive navigation.
Bug Fixes
We’ve addressed the issue where alert text labels were overlapping with order text labels on the chart when set at the same price level. Now, to prevent visual clutter, if an alert’s text label overlaps with an order’s text, the alert’s label will be hidden.
