Notifications Troubleshooting
Before referring to the following instructions make sure that your device isn't in silent mode.
Check your system notification settings for TabTrader; the following items must be enabled:
- Notification priority (allowed in background mode) for TabTrader
- Notification sound for TabTrader
- Notification sound in general notification settings
- Battery usage for TabTrader should be in priority mode (the name of this setting varies by manufacturer)
On Android, some manufacturers optimize energy consumption by disabling apps' notification settings or battery usage. This kills applications when they are not being used (immediately after they’re closed or after a period of inactivity). This is the case for some Chinese manufacturers (ex: Huawei, Xiaomi, ZTE, Asus, etc.). Such an approach prevents your device from getting push notifications even if they are set to high priority.
It is possible to whitelist the app in the device settings so that the manufacturer's settings no longer kill it.
In case the alerts stopped triggering, please log out of your TabTrader profile and reboot your device, then log in again and see if it helps. Otherwise reinstall the application and try again.
