Introduction

Technical analysis is a fundamental part in trading and investing.
Participants in the market identify patterns in trend behavior using combined data points, shaping their trading strategies accordingly.
Traders also consider various factors in technical analysis, such as predicting future trends from historical data, recognizing chart patterns, and assessing overall market sentiment.

Indicators stand out as one of the most effective tools in technical analysis.

A technical indicator is a mathematical tool applied to price and volume data, creating a visual representation that enhances our understanding of the market's condition.
It presents market data in a user-friendly manner, so the observer can swiftly recognize the current state of the market.

TabTrader provides a diverse range of indicators neatly categorized into five groups for easy navigation: Trend, Momentum, Relative Strength, Mean Reversion, and Volume.

Some of the indicators can fall into more than one group by type.

Types of Indicators

Trend

The type of indicators that identifies and confirms the direction of the market trend are known as trend indicators.

Momentum
