Kraken: how to create API keys
Kraken is one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges in the world offering over 210 different digital currencies, as well as several fiat currencies.
There are several types of trading:
spot trading, margin trading, futures trading, “Dark Pool” trading (which is a private trading venue where users can place large orders without revealing their intentions to the wider market), and OTC trading (over-the-counter).
In order to connect your Kraken account to TabTrader you’ll need to link your API keys in the Portfolio section.

How to create API keys
Log in to your Kraken account.
Once you're logged in, click on your profile icon in the top right corner of the screen.
From the drop-down menu, select "Settings".

On the Settings page, open the API tab. Click on "Create API key".

Provide a name for your API key.
Enable the following permissions in the “Permissions” section:
"Query", "Query open orders and trades", "Query closed orders and trades", "Create and modify orders", "Cancel and close orders".
Do not enable the “Withdraw” permission.

In "IP address restriction" you’ll be able to whitelist your device’s IP addresses that are allowed to access your API key from mobile apps.
If you don’t have a static IP address, you shouldn’t enable this option.
Once the configurations are done click on "Generate key".
Confirm the creation of the API key via email verification and 2FA.
Copy and save your API and Private keys.

Click "Close" to finish the procedure. Your API keys will appear in the list of API keys.
Now you’re ready to add these keys into TabTrader.
Keep your API keys safe and never share them with anyone.
